Why should I give online?

When you set up a recurring donation online, you’re ensuring Westfield’s ongoing success. As a not-for-profit organization that relies on ambitious fundraising and your generosity for survival, it’s important for our members and friends who are commit to caring for the heart of Killingly by making a pledge to make good on it the best they can. By utilizing online giving, you can ensure that your donation makes it on time–just like the bills do!

Will I get a tax write off for my donation?

Yes. As long as you didn’t receive any goods or services in return for your donation, your contribution is eligible for a tax write off. Be sure to include your name and contact information requested so we’re sure to match up your donation with the correct person in our system.

Is it safe?

Yes! Here’s some information about their security profile.

What type of payments do you accept?

You can donate using a debit/credit card or through ACH (electronic check). If you’re willing to help us cover the cost of the fees to provide this service, consider adding 3% to your donation.

Can I set a recurring payment?

Yep! Sure can! Choose how often you’d like the payment to be made from one time to weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, or yearly. When you choose to set up a recurring donation, you help us stay afloat during the lean months of the year–a true gift to our mission and ministry.

Can I just have my bank send a check?

Sure! That’s actually wonderful because we don’t pay any fees if you decide to set up a recurring payment that way. Just send it to Westfield Church, 210 Main Street, Killingly, CT 06239. You should be able to set it up as a recurring payment. If you need help, just a call the office (860-774-8438)

But I like having something to put in the offering plate.

We totally get it. Just pick up an offering token in the narthex when you come in and toss it in the plate when it comes around. It lets us know how many online donations to look for and lets you have that same good feeling of contributing.


